In light of recent amendments to Florida law, including new compliance standards for recordkeeping, this one-hour course is essential for both licensed community association managers and board members. The class provides an overview of statutory obligations, practical best practices, and tools to ensure your association meets the latest legal requirements—including mandatory website disclosures, electronic communications and retention policies. This course focuses on record keeping and will be presented in classroom and online formats. Participants’ knowledge of the material will be evaluated during the Q&A portion of the course.

Understanding Architectural Committees

This course offers a practical and legal overview of architectural review procedures in Florida homeowners' associations. Participants will examine §720.3035, Florida Statutes, and related provisions to understand how to draft enforceable architectural guidelines, the proper use of Architectural Control Committees (ACCs), and how to process and respond to architectural modification requests. The course also addresses enforcement strategies for violations and how to ensure compliance with both Florida law and governing documents. Participants will be evaluated during the Q&A session.
